In a greed-enveloped society such as ours, we certainly cannot afford to let others think for us. I believe being open-minded is one of the most beneficial things a person can do for himself and for everyone around him. Sadly, much malevolent rigidity exists among mankind.
It's fascinating when you sit on a high hill, overlooking a town or city. It really does make you feel like you're on the outside looking at a control grid.
I just wish more of us chose to live on that hill instead.
A man made city seen from space looks like circuitry of the brain and we did not mean to build our roads and lights that way. And can't forget the tiny bacteria infesting this garden like planet, thinking it's so important. Those little beings of nothing think they own the earth. Only the Rich live up on the hill, they get it, they see it, and they somewhat understand what we are; controllable lucrative pawns.

For all their wealth, for all their power, I'd still rather be one of us.

We are becoming 21st Century budgerigars.
And society is our birdcage.
